What have you learnt from your audience feedback?
Audience Feedback:
When anyone or any company makes a product it's aim is to sell the products and the only way to really do that is to reach out to an audience and find what they want. Audience feedback can make or break an artist so it's therefore very important for media industries to gain good audience feedback to know if they need to change direction.
There are a lot of ways businesses can collect audience feedback such as:
Social Media Comments
Questionnaires (written, online etc.)
Social Surveys
Focus Groups
Forums
Some methods are a lot more useful than others. Forums and Social media comments are really hard to see a full audience view whereas pinpointed social surveys or questionnaires really do give a full view as the researcher can ask specific questions and get specific qualitative or quantitative data.
To collect feedback for my work. I decided to allow people to view the work on a computer and leave feedback on post-it notes.
Feedback:
Video:
1 - Good use of after effects on the video and lip syncing was okay. Could boost performance?
2 - Good performance setting variety, really liked the realistic DJ in the back, maybe could've done something during the instrumental?
3 - I really liked the emotion of the performance and the volume bar that appeared in the vid made it look really professional!
4 - Nice variety of costume and setting with good lip syncing, really good editing.
5 - Good use of continuity and emotional performance the use of after effects made it look really awesome and I liked the different use of setting as well. Possibly could use more variety?
Website:
1 - Great images used and layout is perfect, good consistent colour theme.
2 - Perfect use of social media and the fact that its regularly updated makes it look professional too. Good colour scheme and easy to use
3 - Good to interact with and it looked really personalised and it suited the genre well. Good regular updates and the style was consistent
4 - Consistent colour, images and font. The style of the website layout was really clear and fit the genre.
5 - Layout was clear and images used were really good. I really liked the vlog included it was just really personalised and professional.
Digipak:
1 - Consistent colour and font used, the images also suited the theme and genre well.
2 - The signatures were a nice touch, it is consistent with your website and colour scheme altogether.
3 - I like the simplicity of the images on the digipak which made it look like a professional dance digipak.
4 - The font and titles worked really well with the colour scheme and images of your digipak, everything stood out really well like a dance digipak.
5 - Good consistent style throughout. I like the logos and the personal messages on the digipak as it makes it really personal and professional.
